WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG? - 11 May 2010

Well it is all over bar the shouting, going to the Palace and the new Prime Minister announcing his cabinet. It was interesting to see how Labour members of Parliament have thwarted those unelected Peers who were leading the talks because they saw that a Lib Lab packed would not be acceptable by the electorate and could not get the support of the party.

It was very nauseous seeing the Lib Dems calling the shots and looking so full of themselves, but then the upside maybe to have kicked PR into the long grass as most of us would not like to see this again.... and then of course there maybe another election within a short time!

The question I ask at the end of this process is why did it take so long to come to a conclusion?
